The Elfenbankje has no fixed rules regarding the adjustment of the children. We take each child into individual consideration in addition to any wishes of the parents/guardians.
We have found, in practice, that children adjust sooner when they slowly but surely start to discover the new situation for themselves without the presence of their parents. A child is quickly inclined to withdraw if parents are / remain present.
We take care of food, drink and diapers. You only need to bring spare clothing. There is a bag for every child, in which personal items can be kept.
